The New York Website Designer's team is expanding!

The New York Website Designer's team is expanding! Let's give a warm welcome to Lillian Rodriguez, Social Media Guru and Patrick Harmon, Marketing Specialist and Designer.

Patrick Harmon, Marketing Specialist and Designer

Patrick is a New York-based interactive marketing specialist and designer. A 13 year industry veteran, his experience is vast – ranging from boutique marketing firms to Mad Men-style behemoth agencies. He's filled roles as diverse as interactive producer, account manager, digital strategist, information architect, designer, copywriter and even proofreader. His projects have been recognized by iNova, WebAwards and the EPA.

Patrick knows the value of collaboration. Any successful project starts with getting to know your clients, understanding their goals, and putting forth the right creative solution to meet their needs. Thanks to his diverse experience, he can recommend a well-informed approach to meet almost any objective, budget and timeline. His specialties include interactive project management, graphic design and front end web development for a variety of interactive channels (websites, eCRM, banner campaigns, mobile and social media to name a few.)

When Patrick isn't glued to his computer, you can probably find him exploring his other passions: playing guitar, writing and recording songs, acting and, most recently, watching Breaking Bad marathons with his wife, Erica, and their 4 – four! – cats.

Lillian Rodriguez, Social Media Maven

Lillian is a social media maven working with The New York Web Designer, Andrea Bertola. Lillian graduated from New York University with Honors ready to take on the world. What she found is that taking on the world nowadays includes becoming an expert at social media. Now 3 years later, through her social media prowess, Lillian has gotten work opportunities in her field, been invited for radio interviews, grown her professional network, communicated with and learned from top industry professionals in her field, and most importantly relentlessly created a personal brand.

With the accessibility of social media, the power of promotion, publicity, and branding are at your fingertips. It took Lillian over 3 years to get to the point she is now with social media, but she’s excited to give your product, brand, company, and/or blog the vigorous attention it needs to catapult your online influence in a month or less.

Lillian’s qualifications to help you grow your social media network. See for yourself: she has over 56,000 likes on her Facebook Fan Page (Facebook.com/LillianRodriguezFanPage) and over 9,000 followers on Twitter and growing every day (Twitter.com/Lillian4444).

In her personal life Lillian is a dues-paying actor based out of New York. She’s a proud member of acting unions SAG-AFTRA and AEA, in addition to the organization New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT). She acts in theatre, film, and standardized patient work in New York. She also regularly blogs as a member of The Annex Press.

Web Design for The League of Professional Theatre Women

The New York Website Designer recently created a brand new web site and logo design for The League of Professional Theatre Women, a not-for-profit organization that seeks to promote visibility and increase opportunities for women in the Professional Theatre.

The League of Professional Theatre Women, Inc. is:
  • An advocacy organization with a mission to reinforce the positive image of, promote the visibility of, and increase opportunities for women in the arts and entertainment industries, more particularly professional theatre, with a goal to enrich and infuse our culture.
  • A support system for women in theatre, in which they serve as resources for each other by mutual sharing of experiences, insights and work.
  • A center for the exchange of information and skills that women can utilize in their careers.
  • A means of linking women in the professional theatre with colleagues in college and university theatres, and with women in other performing arts organizations in the United States and abroad.
  • A forum for ideas relating to art and its effect on society.

Jamie Shupak, NY1's Traffic Anchor, loves the New York Website Designer

I recently created two new websites for NY1's traffic anchor, Jamie Shupak. Jamie needed to update her website to showcase her ever-expanding portfolio. She also needed a website for her new food blog: www.TheTVDinner.com.

Here's what Jamie Shupak had to say about working with The New York Website Designer:

"Andrea is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is talented, creative and most importantly, she listens to your needs and wants as a client. She took my vision -- for both of my sites! -- and brought them to life in an even better way than I ever could have imagined. I couldn't be happier with the work she did, all while being incredibly patient with my need for perfection. Andrea is easy and timely to communicate with, which is important. You don't want to sit around waiting for a response when you're itching for your website to be done. I would whole-heartedly recommend you hire her for any of your web design/logo needs."
